00:09 Well, now we're around that corner and ready to get festive.
00:14 I feel really, really grateful.
00:16 ET's breaking down all the holiday TV
00:18 specials you don't want to miss.

00:27 Over in Washington, Mickey Guyton hosts the National
00:30 Christmas Tree Lighting, a 100-year-old tradition
00:33 packed with plenty of special guests,
00:36 not to mention DC's most famous resident.
00:39 I never in a million years expected
00:41 to be playing for the president of the United States.
00:45 Well, here we are again, the magical season
00:48 when all of the trees are dressed in light.
00:52 I like singing about the holidays
00:54 and trying to make people's holidays warm and bright
00:56 for a living.
00:57 And it's a privilege to be with so
00:58 many other incredible artists.

01:19 we'll be rocking to holiday hits for a good cause.
01:23 This is definitely an emotional show
01:25 that tugs on the heartstrings.
01:27 The stars step out for the 25th annual A Home
01:29 for the Holidays, a celebration of families whose lives
01:33 were changed by adoption.
01:35 It makes me feel a sense of pride
01:37 that there's a lot of people coming together
01:40 to make this show happen.
01:41 There is no greater cause than to open up your home
01:47 and allow children to come in and be loved.
01:50 So it's more than just a celebration for the holidays.
01:55 It's about changing lives.
01:56 To see kids that go from longing for a family,
02:00 longing for something to belong to,
02:02 and then receive that before the world is really beautiful.
02:05 We have no idea what it really feels like to be a kid
02:08 and to finally have a home and a family.
02:10 I mean, it's got to be the most amazing feeling.
02:13 (SINGING) You will get a sentimental feeling when you
02:19 hear voices singing, let's be jolly.
02:24 But let's not forget Auld Lang Syne
02:27 as we close out 2023 in the country music capital,
02:30 when El King and our own Rachel Smith
02:33 emcee New Year's Eve Live, Nashville's Big Bash.
