Palestinian supporters in US put up Nativity scene for Israel-Hamas war victims

Palestinian supporters rally at Rockefeller Center by putting up a Nativity scene to express solidarity amid the Israel-Hamas war. About 1,140 civilians, mostly women and children, have been killed since the fighting erupted, triggered by a Hamas attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. Israeli strikes on Christmas Day destroyed the Al-Maghazi refugee camp and caused at least 70 casualties.
