00:00 Matthew Perry's cause of death. The medical examiner's office just released
00:03 the actor's toxicology report and it concludes that the friend star died from
00:08 the acute effects of ketamine. The report states that Matthew was receiving
00:12 ketamine infusion therapy for depression and anxiety but his last treatment was a
00:17 week and a half before his death. The half-life of the drug is only three to
00:21 four hours but some doctors are known to supply prescription ketamine for at home
00:25 use which could lead to overdose. Other contributing factors cited drowning,
00:30 coronary artery disease and an opioid medication prescribed for people with a
00:35 drug dependence. Get into a place in your life where you're having a problem and
00:39 you either you know lie down about it or step up to bat and take your take your
00:44 swing. The friend star who was open about his past struggles with drugs and
00:48 alcohol was 19 months sober according to the report.
