కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టులో అవినీతి జరిగిందని ఎన్నికల ముందు కేంద్ర హోం శాఖకు లేఖ రాసిన కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ, ఇప్పుడు సీబీఐ విచారణకు ఎందుకు ఆదేశించడం లేదని బీజేపీ మాజీ ఎమ్మెల్యే రఘునందన్ రావు  సూటిగా ప్రశ్నించారు. ఇప్పటికైనా గతంలో రాహుల్ గాంధీ చెప్పినట్టు కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టులో జరిగిన అవకతవకలపై విచారణ జరిపించాలన్నారు.
Former BJP MLA Raghunandan Rao directly questioned why the Congress party, which had written to the Union Home Ministry before the elections alleging corruption in the Kaleswaram project, is not ordering a CBI inquiry now. Even now, as Rahul Gandhi said in the past, he wants to investigate the irregularities in the Kaleswaram project.
