Reckless SUV Donuts Crush Five in Colorado Springs "Street Takeover"

Five people were severely injured during a "street takeover" incident in Colorado Springs when the driver, Marisol Wentling, performed donuts in an SUV while passengers hung out of the windows and sunroof.
The incident occurred just after 10:15 pm on Saturday in the parking lot of The Market at Spring Creek. The car flipped over, crushing two passengers with the full weight of the vehicle and throwing everyone else. Witnesses rushed to help, fearing someone was trapped under the car.
Wentling was arrested for reckless driving but released on bond. Authorities are investigating and pleading for information. This incident follows a series of dangerous street takeovers in Connecticut where participants attacked police with fireworks.
