Anti-Fossil Fuel Demonstration Held in Taipei

Activists rallied in Taipei on Saturday to call for an end to Taiwan’s reliance on fossil fuels. Around 80% of Taiwan's energy mix comes from coal and gas, which activists say are harmful to human health and the planet. The demonstration comes days after the COP28 U.N. climate summit, where countries agreed to transition away from fossil fuels.
