00:00 Hi. Hello guys. Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. Hey, how are you? I'm very well mate, very well.
00:06 It's always fun when you get just past that threshold when it's not too early to say that
00:10 and then it's just I'm stuffing it out every five minutes. Congratulations on the movie guys,
00:15 it's a lot of fun. My only qualm would be if my old man was like as ripped as Mark Walberg was
00:21 in this movie I would have suspected something at some point in my childhood. But it's like I'm a
00:26 secret agent. I'd be like actually that tracks, that's all right. But it was a lot of fun.
00:31 Michelle, I'll start with you. Not the first time you've been married to a secret agent type.
00:36 That's true. I was on Dan Boy compared to Ethan Hunt.
00:38 That's true. Probably multiple times.
00:42 Multiple times actually. That's true, yeah.
00:45 That's funny. Are we hanging out with secret agents?
00:47 Yeah, maybe. I was wondering how he compares to Ethan Hunt,
00:55 which one of them would you prefer to be keeping indoors?
00:58 Well, they're both pretty ripped. So, you know, listen, is that a theme in my career? Maybe,
01:07 maybe it is. They're both pretty good at what they do. Let's just put it that way.
01:13 I think Dan's probably better at driving a minivan.
01:16 I think so.
01:18 Definitely. If you want someone to put the Christmas tree up, that is the one I would suggest.
01:23 That's my guy. That's right.
01:24 I was thinking there's probably a few similarities. You might laugh at this,
01:29 but I think there's a few similarities from my perspective of like a successful
01:33 actors in Hollywood and secret agents like physically fit, a lot of different particular
01:37 skills, lots of air miles. I just wondered which one of you guys would fancy a game like that?
01:45 Who do you think would be a better secret agent and what particular skill do you have
01:49 would come in useful?
01:52 I think Michelle would be a better secret agent because she's so easy at making people feel very
01:58 safe and comfortable and loved and appreciated. She can easily access all the information she
02:04 would need from anybody at any time.
02:06 Oh, that's really, that's really, that's really nice. That's that. That'd be my special skill.
02:12 Oh, well, there you go. I'd bake them. I'd bake them all of my little nice desserts.
02:17 I'd reel them open and then crack them over the head with the beater.
02:21 Exactly. That's exactly how it would go.
02:23 There's a tinge of disappointment there. I thought you wanted to hear,
02:26 well, you're really good at fighting. You're really charming. I guess another part of it is
02:30 you guys will be, you guys will have to kind of pretend and keep secrets from your nearest
02:36 and dearest quite a lot. When you get a big kind of movie deal and stuff where you might be
02:40 embargoed. I wonder what's the biggest kind of secret you've had to sit on from your,
02:46 from your friends and family?
02:48 Yes, probably. Yeah. Whether I'm in a movie or not or something, I have to really keep on the
02:53 down low, I suppose. I think the biggest secret is that, you know, for instance, my husband never
03:00 really knows what I go off and shoot. I just go and kind of make the movie. He doesn't want to
03:04 know because he loves to watch it and be surprised. But he'll usually, after he watches the film,
03:09 he'd be like, oh, that's who you were the, like, that's who you were the last few months. That's
03:15 this track. That's what happened. You know, so that's, that's, that for me is fun to kind of,
03:22 kind of keep my work as a creative secret. And I just kind of go and do that. And then at home,
03:28 I try to be as much a mom and wife as is possible. And then it's kind of a nice little surprise when
03:34 they kind of see what I've been up to.
03:35 For me, for my best interest, full disclosure is a must.
03:43 My niece is the opposite. She likes to like read the last page of a book before the rest of it.
03:47 So I think if I was in Hollywood, it would be absolutely useless. And I wondered very quickly,
03:52 a big theme in the movie is kind of you guys are coming down on social media,
03:57 throwing phones out of windows. It sounds absolutely terrifying. That must be tricky
04:01 for you guys as parents in Hollywood as well. Did that ring home some truth for you when you're
04:07 seeing your kids filming this TikTok and Instagram and all that kind of thing? Do you just want to
04:12 get as far away from it as possible?
04:13 A hundred percent. A hundred percent. I feel like in our home, it's really the only thing
04:18 that we have to sit down as a family and navigate. And we kind of argue about is screen time, device
04:24 time. You know, Mark said it perfectly yesterday. I think that scene where he just chucks all the
04:30 devices out the window is truly wish fulfillment for anyone watching the movie. I think it's such
04:36 a universal issue nowadays. And I also think, you know, I think as parents, we struggle because
04:42 we're also glued to our devices. So I think that's the tricky thing is like, how do we find that
04:46 balance of keeping their heads up and engaged and wanting to have conversation, you know,
04:55 with something that we're all absolutely dependent on. So I like the spin on it,
05:01 the sense of humor that this film touches on.
05:04 It's one of those things that you love to see happen to other people, but then deep down,
05:07 you think, I would be crushed. I would be crushed. Anyway, guys, it's a great movie. It's a lovely
05:15 movie to watch as a family. So I'm sure lots of people will do that this Christmas. I hope you
05:18 have a lovely festive period. Enjoy yourselves. Love to the family.
05:22 Thank you. You as well.
05:23 I'll see you in the next one.
05:25 All right. Thank you so much.
