Musk urged Italians and the people of other industrialised countries to have more children "or the culture of Italy, Japan and France will disappear."

00:36 And the U.S. billionaire Elon Musk also had an anti-migration message for the festival.

00:42 He said immigration cannot solve the demographic problem that many major economic powers such

00:47 as Italy and Japan are facing.

00:49 The answer, he said, is for families to have more children.

00:53 And to drive home his point, he carried one of his sons onto the stage.
