Scholz's coalition reaches new budget deal

The chancellor's government was forced to re-work the 2024 budget after the country's top court ruled that the previously agreed spending plan was unconstitutional due to borrowing rules. Olaf Scholz said savings would have to be made, but he pledged that Berlin would maintain financial aid for Ukraine.
