Stephen Fry talks about his recovery after falling off stage

Stephen Fry has documented his recovery on Good Morning Britain ahead of Christmas after he fell six feet off a stage in September.

00:00 It was pretty nasty, yeah. I broke my leg in two places, my pelvis in four places,

00:04 and a bunch of ribs, so it was really quite serious.

00:07 And actually, painkillers helped.

00:11 -Yes. -I know that sounds silly.

00:13 I mean, obviously, they reduce the pain,

00:15 but they mean the physio can get on your feet earlier.

00:18 But because of the painkillers,

00:20 I was able to move earlier than I otherwise would have been.

00:23 And since then, just lots of hydrotherapy and physiotherapy.
