A woman aged in her 20s has died following a collision in Sparkbrook. She was driving a BMW which collided with a taxi on Highgate Road on Sunday morning. The woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The body of a man, whose identity is currently unknown, has been discovered in Highbury Park in Moseley. The discovery was made on Thursday, September 21 and police have been working with the coroner since then to establish his identity.
Canadian coffee shop Tim Hortons is looking to take over a unit currently home to Pizza Hut next to Gallagher Shopping Park in Wednesbury. A new drive-thru would be added to the existing restaurant if the plans are approved by Sandwell Council. The application states that Tim Hortons plans for the venue to be open 24 hours a day.
