Hartlepool United boss John Askey delivered his post-match verdict after his side progressed to round four of the FA Trophy with a 5-1 win over City of Liverpool.

00:00 was obviously first off conceding so early, free kick, makes it so difficult when you

00:38 it and that proved the point that turned out to be the reason today. Obviously I wasn't happy we've

00:45 got to move the ball quicker which we did and just basically that really just we just got to carry on

00:55 believing in ourselves and pass the ball move the ball quicker and get the ball forward quicker as

01:00 well and they did that and you know you start with Blackfur he was getting forward really well

01:07 causing problems and that's where majority of the attacks came from down on the left hand side and

01:15 it was ended up obviously with five goals. Manning D again I thought was excellent you know

01:26 the third has come up with the goal just at the right time as well got into the box so now I was

01:32 just pleased to get out of the way.
