00:04 178 of the Constitution of India.

00:06 I have an announcement to make.

00:21 Firstly, I welcome you all for the first session of the Third Telangana Legislative Assembly,

00:29 constituted after General Elections, under Article 188 of the Constitution of India.

00:36 The Honourable Members are required to make an oath or affirmation beside another oath

00:41 under Rule 5A of Assembly Rules, then sign in the roll, Members taking their seats in

00:49 the House.

00:50 The Secretary will first call upon the Honourable Chief Minister, followed by the Honourable

00:57 Deputy Chief Minister and the Ministers, former Chief Minister and Lady Members.

01:05 Later, the other Members will be called in alphabetical order to make the oath of affirmation.

01:13 When the name of a Member is called, he or she should proceed to the right side of the

01:19 table of the Secretary.

01:21 There, the Member is required to furnish the photocopy of the Certificate of Election,

01:27 then copies of forms of oath or affirmation will be handed over to the Members.

01:33 The Member should make an oath or affirmation facing towards the Chair.

01:37 Thereafter, the Member should go up to the Speaker pro tem to wish him and then proceed

01:43 from behind the Chair to the other side of the table and sign in the roll, Members, and

01:48 take the seat in the House.

01:50 Since the seats are not allocated to the Members at the present, they may sit in any seats

01:55 available.

01:56 After the election of the Speaker, the Speaker will allot seats to all the Members.
