Peru: Road blockade may be punished with up to 15 years in prison after amendment to the Penal Code

The President of the Council of Ministers, Alberto Otárola, announced that the Executive issued a legislative decree, which establishes greater severity against those who participate in and organize road blockades. The norm establishes the modification of the Penal Code, so that now the crime may be punished with up to 15 years in prison. teleSUR
