Council chiefs reveal interest in shops in Sheffield's Heart of the City II development after scaffolding and hoardings are removed.

00:09 we've seen from occupiers and potential retailers as we've seen scaffolding come down, hoardings

00:15 released and we've certainly seen a big uplift in interest and we're hopeful of some positive

00:20 announcements very soon. I'm Ben Miscall, Chair of the Transport Regeneration and Climate Committee

00:27 at Sheffield City Council. Behind me you can see heart of the city in 2024 next year it's going to

00:32 be a really exciting year for heart of the city and you can see behind me that actually hoardings

00:38 coming off, you see new shop fronts and we're about to be announcing new retailers and new users of

00:45 this space. It's brilliant we've got Sussan and Green at the back of me that's creating

00:49 increased footfall and actually it shows that Sheffield City Centre is on the up.
