00:14 It was like-- it was kind of insane this season.

00:20 So I think we're all the coaches are just like, we have no idea.

00:24 I mean, I have a couple in my mind that just blow my mind

00:28 because of certain things, like maybe their age

00:30 or-- you know what I'm saying?

00:33 But it is going to be an epic lives.

00:36 It's just going to be an amazing concert.

00:38 So Chance the Rapper, he's back as a top 12 mentor.

00:41 So what makes him the perfect mentor?

00:43 Well, Chance and I got to hang one day.

00:46 And I actually met him with Blake

00:49 on his rap of the voice, like graduation of the voice.

00:53 I don't know what you want to call it.

00:55 That night, and that was my first time meeting him.

00:58 But he is just a really creative guy.

01:01 You know, he hears everything.

01:02 He sees everything.

01:03 He's got production kind of like clout

01:08 at the same time as a songwriter.

01:10 And I just think he is just really great to give advice,

01:13 you know, mostly because he's just a creative guy.

01:17 OK, now another former mentor you've worked with

01:20 is Taylor Swift.

01:22 Do you have a particular favorite memory

01:24 when you worked with her?

01:25 Yes, I remember the first time working with her,

01:28 being such a fan, because she's just such an amazing songwriter.

01:31 It's weird to be in the future now.

01:33 She's like ruling the whole planet.

01:35 And I'm so happy for you.

01:38 But it was just cool to get to know her.

01:41 I didn't know her at all.

01:43 You know what I mean?

01:43 I just knew her from her songs.

01:45 And then from that first season of working with her

01:47 to the second season, it was like even more growth

01:50 had happened.

01:51 So just amazed by her as a songwriter,

01:54 amazed now by her as a live performer

01:56 to be able to do what she's done around the world.

01:58 It's insane.

02:00 And I listen to folklore all the time.

02:03 It's an amazing record.

02:05 OK, so recently-- I'm not sure if you've seen the video--

02:07 but Cher surprised Julia Roberts with a hug during an interview.

02:12 And we have deja vu, because it reminds us of when Julia was

02:16 starstruck by you back in 2001 on the red carpet.

02:20 So looking back, what do you remember about this moment?

02:23 I'll show it to you.

02:25 You don't even have to show me that picture.

02:27 That will be always imprinted in my brain.

02:29 I don't have a lot of memory, but that one is there.

02:32 Julia Roberts at that time was already a legend for us.

02:37 I think that was one of my first red carpets.

02:40 So just being out there and having her hugging me--

02:44 and I remember I was looking at the camera going,

02:47 dad, it's Julia Roberts.

02:50 And just being like, wow, this is happening right now.

02:52 Because still, even to this day, she's such an incredible actress

02:57 and just seems like such a beautiful person.

02:59 And yeah, that happened to me, guys.

03:02 That happened to me.

03:03 And you're in such good hands with Cher,

03:05 her fangirling over both of you.

03:07 How does that feel?

03:08 Well, I actually got to present an award to Cher at one point.

03:11 I don't know exactly what it was.

03:12 Probably some kind of I'm the greatest person in the world

03:15 artist, everything award.

03:17 And so I got to meet her then.

03:19 I was really nervous, because I'm not really--

03:21 I'm so honored to be able to do those things.

03:23 But it's not my favorite to speak.

03:27 I'm like, here I am.

03:29 But it was incredible to meet her.

03:31 And then I got to see her again perform at the Met Ball.

03:35 And that was incredible, because she was just right there.

03:37 And she was just so her.

03:39 It's like, she's such an icon.

03:41 It sounds generic to say that.

03:42 But she is the true definition of that.
