Better Chance of Making it Back to Super Bowl: Chiefs or Eagles?

The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs both suffered losses Sunday, so which team has a better chance at getting back to the big game?

00:07 Their offense has struggled this season, their receivers have struggled this

00:11 season, we've seen them get close in a lot of these games and

00:14 not be able to finish them off.

00:17 But their competition is not as strong as Phillies, in my opinion.

00:21 Look at the Eagles last game against the 49ers who destroyed them.

00:25 Look at the Eagles next game against the Cowboys.

00:28 If you were to tell me just to pick the three best teams in the NFL,

00:31 I can make an argument.

00:32 It is those three,

00:33 San Francisco clearly looks like the best team in the NFL right now.

00:36 Meanwhile, Kansas City does not have the same problem in the AFC.

00:41 The Dolphins haven't beat a team over 500 in more than a calendar year.

00:45 The Ravens aren't particularly explosive though good.

00:48 In fact, I think the biggest threat to the Chiefs might be the Bills and

00:51 they're flirting with not making the playoffs.

00:55 All valid points, but I'm definitely gonna go Philly despite that pathetic

00:59 performance they put forth against the 49ers.

01:02 And my biggest argument is the number one seed.

01:04 The Eagles could still end up winning number one seed even despite the loss of

01:07 San Fran, they're still in first place.

01:09 The Chiefs may not be the number one seed,

01:11 they may have to play on the road in the playoffs.

01:14 And yeah, you can say what you want about the Dolphins not having been a team

01:18 that's better than 500 record or Baltimore, you still wanna see if they're

01:22 really serious, but if they're at home against Kansas City, you feel good about

01:26 that, yes, defenses do travel, the problem is Kansas City can't score points.

01:30 So if they gotta outscore one of those teams, that's an issue.

01:33 I think Philly, despite their loss,

01:35 still has a really good chance of getting back to the Super Bowl.

01:37 And if they get the number one seed,

01:39 they potentially only have to beat one of those teams, either San Fran or Dallas.

01:43 So they really just gotta be able to beat one of them and

01:46 they're back in the Super Bowl.

01:49 One, we've seen the Chiefs do this on an annual basis, winning the playoffs, so

01:53 they have the pedigree.

01:54 Two, after the Bills next week, their schedule is cake, so

01:57 I'm not so sure they won't be the number one seed.
