00:21 >> Jeannie Mai is finally responding to estranged husband Jeezy's divorce filing.

00:25 In court documents obtained by E! News,

00:28 the television host filed a counterclaim to Jeezy's petition on November 30th.

00:32 In the docs, Jeannie seems to insinuate that her husband may have been unfaithful

00:36 during their marriage, stating she admits the party's marriage is irretrievably

00:41 broken, but that she does not wish to specify here and at this time in the hope

00:45 this matter can be resolved without having to disclose such conduct publicly.

00:50 Jeannie goes on to mention that the prenup her and

00:52 Jeezy signed before they wed in March 2021 may have been violated.

00:57 And if this violation proves to be true, it could cost Jeezy a pretty penny.

01:02 With the doc stating, in the event the court enforces the terms of said

01:06 prenuptial agreement, Jeannie further shows that the court should enforce

01:09 paragraph eight of the prenuptial agreement regarding infidelity,

01:14 which provides in pertinent part that in the event that either party engages in

01:18 sexual relations, an emotional relationship, or is emotionally or

01:23 sexually suggestive in communication with a third party via all forms of

01:27 electronic communication, including but not limited to texting, sexting,

01:33 FaceTiming, social media, and/or direct messages,

01:37 shall result in a significant financial penalty upon the adulterous party.

01:41 The couple also share one-year-old daughter, Monaco, together.

01:45 In this filing, it's revealed that Monaco is currently living with her mother in

01:48 Los Angeles, and that Jeannie is requesting permanent physical custody

01:53 final decision making authority and child support.

01:55 Jeannie has spoken about how her daughter has gotten her through this difficult time.

02:04 >> And I can definitely tell you that I don't know if I would handle this the same

02:08 way without her because today, I'm able to look at her and I can say,

02:12 what would I advise you if you were in my shoes?

02:17 So I'm so thankful to be a mom and I'm thankful to have her.

02:22 >> Jeezy, who filed for divorce back in September,

02:25 has been candid as well about his decision to end his marriage.

02:37 >> But I can tell you that this has not been a easy journey.
