00:00 are very early trends. And, you know, the thing about this early trends and the data
00:05 set that we're getting early is the smallest states tend to have a concentrated data set.
00:10 The largest states will always have a scattered data set. So in that context, I would say
00:15 BJP further consolidating its position in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, there's no denying
00:20 that. Because traditionally, these two states, you know, as a part of the Hindi heartland,
00:25 they've been the bastions of BJP. And, of course, there are two reasons. One, Rajasthan
00:31 has a flip-flop pattern. They have a tradition of flip-flop pattern. Although, you know,
00:35 I would say this time the campaign of BJP could have been better, but they don't deny
00:40 that people want a change in Rajasthan. And it's very evident with the exit poll results.
00:44 And, you know, it's also important in Rajasthan context, the reference of the independence.
00:50 And they are close to a double digit independence. I mean, I'm expecting close to 2022 independence.
00:55 The point about this independence is who do they primarily belong to? And our data suggests
01:02 that majority of them are the BJP independent. So we've been essentially part of the BJP,
01:06 a minority of them have been a congress people who have not got the tickets and everything
01:10 they've been contesting. So essentially, whatever BJP wins, you know, add up another 10 to 15
01:17 independence to them. So the seeds that BJP and of course, BJP is leading. So I mean,
01:21 both Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, they will have a convincing victory at the end of the
01:25 day and all smiles. But yes, certainly MP as people were expecting the Congress, there's
01:31 a heavy anti-incumbency and everything in Madhya Pradesh. But I've always been telling,
01:36 you know, eventually in the campaign run, it eventually turned out to be a personality
01:41 contest between Kamal Nath and Shivraj Singh. And that's where, that's where, you know,
01:47 that's where things become very easy for BJP because, you know, if you only have Kamal
01:51 Nath on the picture and if you, is Kamal Nath speaking something, giving some assurances
01:55 where even the Congress as a united front is not standing on the stage or even the poster
01:59 that you see in Madhya Pradesh, you'll only carry the image of Kamal Nath. It was more
02:03 of an outsourced election to Kamal Nath in the Madhya Pradesh and Mr. Gellot to Rajasthan.
02:07 So what it did is, you know, when Kamal Nath gave an assurance and Shivraj Singh Chauhan
02:11 gave an assurance, the credibility that Shivraj carries is probably a hundred X more than
02:16 Kamal Nath. And that's where, when Shivraj came in, the first leg of the campaign, he
02:20 was actually put in a back burner. He was a little bit under the shadow and Shivraj
02:24 Singh was not really coming up because eventually BJP did not declare him as a face of the campaign
02:29 or the chief ministerial face. But in the second half of the campaign, Shivraj really
02:33 stepped up. And of course, it's, I think it looks like a very, very well calculated move
02:37 and he came in with some new assurances, you know, for new schemes that rolled out really
02:42 well and people felt that, okay, we have some person, we have a gentleman who's been a chief
02:46 minister three times, pitted against a gentleman who is Kamal Nath. He has never been a chief
02:50 minister. I mean, of course he's been a chief minister in the past, but not for a full comprehensive
02:54 term or maybe there've been a lot of hurdles. So I think Shivraj Singh Chauhan has this
02:59 credibility of delivering on the promises and his, let's also understand, 15 years is
03:05 not a small time and he's carried almost unblemished record. There's no major negativity on his
03:11 personal image, although they can be anti-incumbency at the party level. And that's why you see
03:15 party has replaced a lot of candidates. There are a set of union ministers, a record number
03:19 of union ministers coming, MPs coming and contesting as MLAs in Madhya Pradesh. We've
03:23 not seen that before. So I think BJP has really, really done a great strategy in Madhya Pradesh.
03:29 The election engineering is top notch and you will see the results. In my view, both
03:35 Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, they will have a convincing victory end of the day.
