Pas candidate Datuk Seri Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar has won the Kemaman Parliamentary by-election after obtaining 64,998 votes, which is a majority of 37,220 votes.

Kemaman by-election returning officer Ahmad Farhan Abdul Wahab announced on Saturday (Dec 2) night that Ahmad Samsuri defeated Barisan Nasional candidate, retired general Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi Raja Mohamed Noor, who only garnered 27,778 votes.
