00:08 And our next story is pancit that is cooked here in Leyte.

00:22 The suman, lambbiran with ginger and pancit dughit made with papaya.

00:27 You will be heartbroken with its deliciousness.

00:30 When it comes to food, it's really a feast to watch.

00:36 So some of them, in the great food of Leyte,

00:39 became a little bit of a 26-year-old in Angelica.

00:43 First in the menu, the pancit made with papaya that can be made into a dish.

00:50 That's pancit dughit.

00:52 Our pancit dughit here in Leyte is known

00:54 because if we don't have food, we just cut or chop papaya.

01:00 The raw papaya will be peeled by the peeler.

01:03 It will be soaked in salt and then squeezed with lime to remove its extra.

01:08 Next, the garlic and onion will be sautéed.

01:10 We will add sardines and papaya.

01:13 It will be boiled to absorb the taste of sardines in the papaya.

01:17 It will be seasoned with oyster sauce, pepper and soy sauce.

01:39 The pancit dughit that Lampiran brought is twice as delicious.

01:48 Angelica learned this from her mother,

01:50 who used to sell different kinds of pancit dughits.

01:53 I thought of making Lampiran's pancit dughit

01:55 because I love making traditional dishes.

01:59 And this is also one of our favorite snacks here in the field.

02:07 because of its taste that is both salty and sweet.

02:11 The two colors that are combined in Lampiran's pancit dughit are white and purple.

02:15 They also add ginger,

02:17 which gives it an added aroma and removes the smell of the food.

02:20 Wash the sticky rice well

02:23 and soak it in water for an hour to cook it easily.

02:27 Next, squeeze the sticky contents of the coconut milk.
