00:00 So today we have to finalize the blade sign for the hotel,

00:03 which is basically gonna just have the hotel's name on it.

00:06 Hotel 1928.

00:08 We have a couple options.

00:10 And so I just need to pick the final

00:12 and I'm not gonna tell you which one I like.

00:14 - I don't really like to be a part of these decisions, babe.

00:18 - Okay, can you at least eliminate two?

00:20 There's one that's kind of not the same.

00:23 - I see this one, yes.

00:24 This one's different, I agree.

00:26 And then these four are identical in every way,

00:28 except for this one has four lines

00:30 and that one has three lines.

00:31 - That's a sun, that's a burst.

00:32 - Oh, I see a burst.

00:33 - So that's different.

00:34 - I always feel like to some extent,

00:35 this is sort of a trap.

00:37 You know, it's like, come in

00:39 and let's consider these options together.

00:41 You and I as a team.

00:43 And it's, you know, 20 years ago, I would fall for that.

00:47 I was like, you and I as a team, like 50/50?

00:50 She means as a team, like 90/10 or less.

00:55 I don't wanna play this.

00:57 - Well, I'm gonna pull these two

00:58 'cause I don't feel like those go.

01:38 At this stage in the game, I'm just too wise

01:40 to fall for that rookie trap.

01:45 I mean, it was really, I need help finalizing my decision,

01:49 and he wasn't even trying.

01:51 - Man, I wish it was 16/28.

01:53 Wouldn't that be cool?

01:54 - Yeah.

01:55 - Except for you had already picked one.

01:58 - I haven't already picked one.

01:59 - Well-- - I had a couple favorites.

02:01 - The one that was my favorite,

02:04 - Well, that was the one I didn't like.

02:05 I was like, "For sure he's not gonna pick that one."

02:08 - See, this is my point.

02:10 - Okay, so between these two, that feels masculine,

02:14 this feels feminine, and if you look at the building,

02:17 it feels pretty--

02:19 - Masculine.

02:19 - Yes, I feel like I'm your kindergarten teacher.

02:23 - Yeah, but-- - Masculine or feminine?

02:24 - You wanna continue forward with the masculine feeling

02:27 of the overall structure. - No, you wouldn't.

02:28 You wanna balance it.

02:30 So you would go masculine and feminine,

02:33 which is why I think this one,

02:34 really, the whole structure of this building

02:36 is very square, it's strong, it's really solid.

02:40 Like, this just feels like there's a little bit of detail

02:43 that'll go with the little scalloped awnings.

02:45 Forget masculine and feminine, it's more like--

02:46 - This one reminds me of a barbershop.

02:49 You going for the barbershop look?

02:53 I didn't think so, babe.

02:54 - Listen to me, you wanna stick with this one.

02:55 What does this remind you of, for real?

02:57 What does it kinda remind you of?

03:08 I appreciate the back and forth dialogue.

03:10 Chip is always helping me make the best decision

03:13 'cause he kinda plays devil's advocate sometimes.

03:15 He'll make sure that what I picked on my final is final.

03:19 So I appreciate when he's in the room with me

03:22 rather than me picking by myself.

03:25 So get that signed to them, let them know we're ready.

03:28 This was just me trying to include him

03:32 on something I feel like is very significant for the hotel.
