00:37 Accutane. So I've been on it for maybe two months. This is like my third month and I'm supposed to go

00:44 into an appointment for my dermatologist that day and I was like in a bad mood. I call in

00:49 to cancel my appointment. I like tell the receptionist, "Hey, I can't come in today.

00:53 I'm gonna have to reschedule." She's like, "Okay, I'll tell the dermatologist." She calls me back

00:58 and she sounds like stressed. The receptionist sounds like stressed out and she goes,

01:01 "Hey, so I spoke with the dermatologist again and she says you really need to come in."

01:06 And I go, "I can't make it. Can I just come in next week?" And she goes, "No, because we got

01:14 the results of your blood work and there's a pregnancy." The 31-year-old then shares her

01:21 reaction saying she "felt like I got the wind knocked out of me." Jeanette says the events

01:28 that followed is the reason she swore off the medication. I was shocked. I felt like I got the

01:35 wind knocked out of me. My head was spinning. I was so dizzy. I involuntarily sat on the edge of

01:42 my bed. It was like one of those things where I didn't even know. My body just fell onto the edge

01:46 of my bed. I get to the dermatology office and they just bring me right in, right back. She's

01:52 like, "We want to send you to get another blood work panel right away to clarify whether or not

01:58 there's a pregnancy and then we can go from there." And I'm like, "Okay, whatever needs to

02:06 happen." I'm terrified. I go to get my blood work and I am not pregnant and it is fine. But that

02:14 experience was so terrifying that I was like, "I got to get off this sh*t. This is not for me."

02:19 The former child star reveals she has struggled with acne since she was a teenager and gets

02:24 candid about how it impacts her mental health. I'm 31 and I am still struggling, capital S

02:31 struggling, with acne. It affects my self-esteem really negatively. If I'm having a good skin day,

02:38 I'll feel so much better about myself and they are few and far between. And then most of the

02:43 time when I'm really struggling, it just makes me feel kind of crummy. I have found something

02:49 that has worked and it is called the miracle of benzoyl peroxide. In a week, this has turned

02:55 around. I cannot believe it. I found a thing called short, I think it's called short-term

03:00 contact use of benzoyl peroxide. This has changed my skin in the course of a week.
