Betting analyst Jen Piacenti has a couple of player props to target in the Thursday Night Football game between the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys.
Transcript
00:00 I've got a few player props from SI Sportsbook for Thursday Night Football.
00:04 Number 1, Gino Smith under 21.5 passing completions.
00:08 I'm taking the under here as Smith could still be dealing with an elbow injury and
00:12 I think the Cowboys are going to be able to control the clock.
00:15 Deron Bland will be looking for his sixth pick six and
00:18 Micah Parsons will be applying a ton of pressure.
00:20 So even in a likely negative game script, I'm betting on the under.
00:24 Only the Browns have allowed fewer passing completions than the Cowboys this season,
00:27 who've allowed only 195.
00:30 And that's an average of fewer than 18 completions per game allowed by the boys
00:34 in silver and blue.
00:35 Number two, I like Brandon Cooks to go over 40.5 receiving yards and
00:39 for his longest reception to be over 19.5.
00:42 Now this number keeps inching up for Cooks each week, but
00:45 I'm still in on over 40.5 receiving yards for Cooks.
00:49 Cooks has exceeded these props in four of his last five games and
00:53 he's seen a 16% target share across the last three contests,
00:56 with a 21.2% area share.
00:59 Cooks is a burner and since he's been more involved,
01:01 the Cowboys offense has looked much more formidable.
01:04 Dak is playing the best football of his career and the Seahawks are allowing
01:08 an average of 156 receiving yards per game to opposing wideouts.
