Almost a month after Matthew Perry was found dead at his home in LA, his stepfather Keith Morrison addressed his passing in a post on X.The Canadian journalist wrote, “This is not the sort of thing I commonly do, this pitch. But this year is different. And tomorrow is giving Tuesday...”He also included a link to the Matthew Perry Foundation saying, “Do what you can; he would be grateful.”The foundation was set up to continue the Friends actor’s "enduring commitment to helping others struggling with the disease of addiction.”Perry's mom Suzanne Perry and dad John Bennett Perry were married from 1968 to 1970. Following their split, she married Morrison in 1981."It is important to us as a family to honor Matthew's legacy. The potential that the Matthew Perry Foundation has to help those suffering with this disease is something we are proud to bring to the world", said Perry's Family in a statement for Entertainment Tonight.
