00:00 My name is Mark Williams, I'm an Adobe software trainer, also a graphic design lecturer, working

00:13 in Oxygen Channel, also got my own training company as well. I'm running their digital

00:16 skills for marketing communications course, where we look at a variety of different digital

00:21 skills that we can use, we look at Adobe software, we also look a lot about visual communication,

00:26 about general design skills, and how we can apply those to different purposes. A lot of

00:32 people here have already got their own ideas, their own businesses they want to apply that

00:35 to, so we're kind of looking at those and looking at what they need to kind of progress

00:39 their marketing and their digital skills with that. I was in the community sector for 19

00:45 years and I'm just in between changing positions and so I decided to support my husband with

00:51 his business. I never thought that a university would deliver a course like this, so soon

00:56 as I saw the opportunity I got on board straight away. Anyone else thinking of taking one of

01:03 these courses I would say just definitely do it, don't miss the opportunity if it doesn't

01:07 come along, I hope that I've got what I came to this course to achieve and learnt a lot

01:13 of skills that I'll take forward.
