00:00 will be some snow and ice. A number of Met Office yellow weather warnings have

00:03 been issued. And here's the reason for the wintry feel to our weather, a

00:06 northeasterly wind bringing in some cold air all the way from Scandinavia. Now

00:12 tonight's wintry showers will continue across northern Scotland and North Sea

00:16 coastal counties of England. There'll also be a wintry mix of rain sleet and

00:19 mainly hill snow across southern coastal counties of England, but in between

00:23 mostly dry with clear skies, but there could be a few patches of freezing fog

00:27 for Wales, the Midlands and East Anglia. But a cold night, a widespread frost,

00:31 temperatures below freezing and a risk of a few... somebody's just opened the door.
