Met Office issues three day weather warning for snow and ice to hit Sunderland

00:04 a Yellow Weather Warning which is in place for Sunderland from tonight at 5pm to 11am

00:09 tomorrow morning. The weather warning is for the risk of snow and ice with further snow

00:13 showers expected and also temperatures falling below freezing tonight. There is also a Yellow

00:18 Weather Warning in place which will come into force on Thursday at 5pm and run to 11am on

00:23 Friday morning. Again the warning is for snow and ice with the risk of further snow showers.

00:28 The Met Office are warning during this time about the danger of risks of trips and falls

00:31 and also disruption to travel.
