ILLEGAL Traffic Stop, Deputy "Mistakes" Mustang for BMW - April 1, 2022

No, this is not an April Fools' joke... On April 1st, 2022, sheriff's deputies in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana were advised of a vehicle entering their parish, that one of the occupants thereof was pointing an assault-style rifle at other motorists.
Despite the dispatcher clearly describing (a grand total of four times) the suspect vehicle as a gray 4-door BMW occupied by two black males, a detective advising the deputy of a gray 4-door BMW SUV headed his direction, and the deputy admitting it wasn't a BMW... a deputy stopped a silver 2-door Ford Mustang convertible that, in his own words, "kinda fits the description." Obviously it was not the correct vehicle... It was, however, occupied by three black males. In other words, the deputy profiled them because their skin color and direction of travel (and literally nothing else) "fit the description."
A narcotics detective assisted him with the stop, and apparently they were both completely oblivious to the actual suspect vehicle (a BMW SUV) passing right by them. The actual suspect vehicle was never seen again. Neither of the two deputies were ever reprimanded - in fact the one who made the illegal stop was recently promoted to detective...
Again, to reiterate, this was not an April Fools' joke. Though the Caldwell Parish Sheriff's Office under the "leadership" of ridiculously overpaid "sheriff" Clay Bennett is a massive joke, this recording was not. This was a real thing that actually happened, at the hands of real* law enforcement** officers.
*supposedly - they're commissioned law officers, but I'd think legitimate cops would do better than that.
