00:41 How did this start for you with Disney?
00:43 You were there at the launch of Disney Plus.
00:46 It's actually a full circle moment for me, because the same month last year,
00:52 I had the opportunity to sing for the launch of Disney Plus here in the Philippines
00:58 with Stell and Janelle Salvador.
01:01 It was a magical moment and I never imagined that something like that would happen
01:07 and now it's something...
01:10 And this opportunity was given to me this year.
01:13 So it's like an anniversary.
01:14 I know, but how did that happen?
01:16 So they went up to you and they said, "Hey, would you like to do the local version of the song?"
01:20 Actually, it happened really fast.
01:23 I just knew about this last October and I don't know how they chose me.
01:33 The backstory, the behind the scenes story.
01:35 But I feel like what happened last year with Disney Plus was actually the door.
01:40 It became the door to this opportunity.
01:42 It's like you auditioned for them.
01:43 Yes, I auditioned for them.

01:49 So when they approached you, the song was already finished?
01:52 Yes.
01:53 I actually watched the trailer and the song was already out on music streaming platforms.
02:03 I never expected that they would have a local version.
02:06 And I'm really glad that that's what Disney did.

02:16 What is the meaning or what is the main message that you want to impart with this song?
02:22 Well, from the title itself, "Aking Hilin," it talks about our wishes, our hearts' wishes,
02:29 and wanting something more for everyone and for yourself.
02:37 And it's not just wanting something, but it's for the good of everyone.
02:42 Wow.
02:43 That's definitely a big wish.
02:46 But if you could wish upon a star, which you have been wishing, that's very kind of you.

02:54 If you could wish upon the star, what else would you like to ask for or to wish for?

03:04 Maybe, well, that's hard for me.

03:33 We all grew up wanting to be a princess.
03:36 And maybe we'd even end up singing the princess song.

03:42 Did you have a favorite Disney princess growing up or something?
03:45 I wish I could sing that song.
03:48 I guess one of the movies that me and my siblings are really into is Frozen.
03:57 Yes.
03:58 We really memorized the lines and all the songs.
04:01 And I guess the story just inspires us to be strong and to give importance to the family.
04:09 I feel like that's what I get from that movie.
04:11 Well, I mean, speaking of movies, Wish is actually out.

04:19 What is it about?
04:22 Just like the song, it's about our wishes.
04:27 And like, yeah, wanting for more and I guess realizing that you need to stand up for what's
04:39 right and for what people really deserve.

04:43 I mean, no one can tell you don't wish on that.
04:46 I mean, we all have our little wishes that we want to come true.

05:33 It will be my second album and a concert probably next year.
