01:08 Jamie Lynn also reflected on her past, recalling the intense scrutiny she faced when she got

01:13 pregnant with her daughter Maddie at 16, back in 2007.

01:17 I decided to keep the baby.

01:19 I had a baby and the whole world was like, you're a s***, you're horrible, your life's

01:22 over.

01:23 Oh really?

01:24 Yeah.

01:25 You felt it?

01:26 Oh yeah, because I got pregnant young, I was on a kid's show.

01:28 At the time, the actress was dating Casey Aldridge and played the lead character in

01:32 the hit Nickelodeon series, Zoe 101.

01:47 Earlier this year, Jamie opened up about her decision to step away from the show when she

01:52 The whole world came down and told me I was the worst human alive for doing so, and that

01:57 every young girl who ever watched my show was going to be ruined because of me and my

02:01 personal decision.

02:02 And Jamie Lynn says she stayed out of the public eye.

02:05 I moved to Mississippi and literally hid, put a gator on me.

02:08 I had 20 paparazzi on me every day.

02:11 But they wouldn't leave me alone.

02:12 They came and lived in Mississippi, middle of nowhere.

02:14 It was horrible.

02:15 In her memoir, Jamie Lynn claims her parents banished her into isolation because she refused

02:20 to have an abortion or give up her baby for adoption, writing, quote, "Everyone was certain

02:26 that termination would be the best course of action.

02:29 Everyone around me just wanted to make this issue disappear."

02:33 They didn't want me to have the baby.

02:35 What was that?

02:36 Just a lot of people around me.

02:38 That's when the former child star breaks down in tears.

02:41 And everybody told me I was going to be a horrible mom, so I was like, I've got to raise

02:43 this baby by myself.

02:45 And so I did.

02:46 Jamie Lynn went on to explain that she threatened to file for legal emancipation from her parents,

02:51 something that she previously opened up about in her memoir.

02:55 That time was just such a chaotic time.

02:57 There was a lot of things going on.

02:59 When I got out of that, I told my parents I was going to emancipate them so that way

03:04 I could make my own decisions.

03:06 She was like, she didn't want me to do that because she knew that that would mean I'd

03:08 probably marry the father's child and lose my fortune that I had amassed over the years

03:12 of working since I was very young.

03:13 She was like, just go, baby.

03:15 You don't need to, you know, like, just go.

03:16 Jamie Lynn and Casey later split, and she got married to her husband, Jamie Watson,

03:21 in 2014.

03:22 I think having the support system I have from my husband, from my mother, from my whole

03:26 family, that's just something that like, you couldn't, you can't buy that.

03:32 And in 2018, she gave birth to her second child, a daughter named Ivy.

03:37 Now, Jamie Lynn says she's proud of how far she's come.

03:41 It's like, I'm proud of what I've, you know, where I'm at now.

03:44 So like, I don't share it in a way of being like sad or crying about it, but it's like,

03:48 I don't know.

03:49 I just, I'm really thankful.
