Flat shifting & launch control in the new Nissan Z

00:00 This is the new Nissan Z and today I'm going to show you how launch control works with

00:06 the six-speed manual.

00:07 So hop in.

00:08 So we switch the car on first.

00:11 All that stuff lights up in front of us and then all you need to do is put the foot on

00:16 the clutch, put it into first gear, you push this button here which is S mode and then

00:22 hold your foot on the throttle.

00:24 It will come up here saying launch control.

00:25 Then you can adjust the revs using the cruise control and we go for it.

00:31 Slip the clutch.

00:32 It even has a flat shifting function so you don't need to let go of the throttle.

00:39 And there you go.

00:42 That is crazy.

00:43 So this is the new Nissan Z.

00:44 That was launch control and also flat shifting which means you don't have to lift the throttle.

00:49 So pretty awesome car.
