Taiwan's foreign ministry is looking into reports that six Taiwanese people accused of committing telefraud in Myanmar have been handed over to Chinese authorities. It wouldn't be the first time another country has extradited Taiwan nationals to China, as a 2021 report found the same had happened to hundreds of Taiwanese fraud suspects between 2016 and 2019.
