00:26 that at the statutory meeting of the Council of the City of Ballarat

00:30 held yesterday evening,

00:32 in accordance with all due processes and protocols,

00:36 Councillor Des Hudson was elected Mayor

00:40 and Councillor Peter Eadie was elected Deputy Mayor

00:44 of our fair City of Ballarat

00:47 by their Councillor colleagues.

00:50 It is appropriate that Councillors Hudson and Eadie

00:54 are welcomed publicly to their august incumbencies
