Newlyweds say they had the 'perfect' wedding day despite tying the knot with 'stinking hangovers'

A pair of newlyweds have told how they had the 'perfect' wedding day despite tying the knot with 'stinking hangovers' - after and partying until 2am.

Videos from the wild night show Kylie McKinnon-Gresham, 26, riding a mechanical bull after boozing with pals and hubby-to-be Stefan.

Despite being bleary-eyed at the 7am wake up call the next morning, the pair tied the knot and showed no signs of their late night shenanigans in the wedding pictures.

Kylie said: "We'll just say I had enough to drink. The night didn't end badly, that's the best way to put it!

"I was a bit hungover but I think my adrenaline took over and once I'd had my iced latte I was feeling great."

Kylie, a teacher and boutique owner, says she only planned on having 'one drink' with her friends after their rehearsal dinner on October 6.

But the night descended into chaos when they were joined by the groom and his friends and the group ended up bar-hopping until the small hours.

Kylie even found herself riding a mechanical bull just hours before she was due to walk down the aisle at the plush Hotel Ella in their hometown of Austin, Texas.

When they eventually stumbled back to the hotel at 2am, Kylie admits she wasn't thinking about the fact she had to be up in just five hours for the big day.

She added: "I had no intentions of going out. I told all my friends we were having a chill night in the hotel, clearly that wasn't the case.

"The turning point was that we were out at the rehearsal dinner and I told them we'll go to one bar and we did not go to one bar, we went all over town and shut it down.

"It was amazing, I would do it over and over again we had a great time.

"Some friends that we were with were local to Austin and some were coming from different states so it was nice to have them all with us.

"If my fiance wasn't out with us I probably wouldn't have gone out. We have a lot of fun together and it felt more natural having him there."

After posting a video of her night out on TikTok, Kylie faced a backlash but hit back at killjoy trolls, adding: "I don't think some people liked that a bride went out the night before her wedding.

"It's a time of celebration and we stretched it out, we had a month-long celebration!"
