00:18 regarding a potential deal.

00:21 We weren't close at all until we started the ground operation.

00:24 In fact, we heard that there was an impending deal

00:27 of this kind or that kind.

00:29 And then we learned that it was all hokum.

00:30 It was nothing.

00:31 But the minute we started the ground operation,

00:34 things began to change.

00:35 So is there a potential deal, Mr. Prime Minister?

00:37 Is there a potential deal?

00:39 There could be.

00:40 But I think the less I say about it,

00:41 the more I'll increase the chances that it materializes.

00:45 In Washington, too, US officials are

00:47 cautious when talking about the chances of finalizing a deal.

00:52 Yes, there are ongoing negotiations

00:55 involving the Israelis, the Qataris,

00:57 and we, the United States, are actively engaged in this

01:02 that we bring home those Americans who

01:05 have been taken hostage as well as all of the other hostages.

01:09 Dozens of hostages could be released

01:11 if the deal, mediated by Qatar, is pushed through.

01:16 According to Israeli media quoting officials,

01:19 in exchange, Israel would release

01:22 the same number of Palestinian security prisoners,

01:25 mainly teenagers and women.

01:27 This will also involve a several day truce and the delivery

01:32 of fuel to the Gaza Strip.
