00:52 And I said, I'm Tyler Perry, Maxine's baby.

00:54 I'm my mother's son.

00:55 Maxine's baby.

00:56 Tyler's mother died in 2009 following a long illness.

01:04 to the world nearly 15 years later.

01:54 you know, this woman endured so much pain.

01:57 And she didn't have some legacy, but she had me.

02:12 That's about the very DNA of my mother.

02:36 I'm not only paying homage to her

02:38 and letting her know that she did well by me,

02:40 but I'm also showing my son that this is

02:42 how you should live your life.

02:43 When you have, you should give.

02:45 When you learn, you should teach.

02:46 So that's how I'm trying to live my life.

02:48 I want to be that example for him.
