WA government introduces incentive for homeowners to ease housing crisis by switching to long-term leases

Landlords will be offered 10-thousand dollars to switch from short-term to long-term rentals in a bid to help ease pressure on WA's tight rental market. It's one of several measures made by the government that aims to regulating the burgeoning short-stay market. However, people continue to fear it will do little in making more properties available for tenants.
