Taiwan Court Rules on Right To Use Indigenous Name on Official ID

A court in Taiwan has ruled in favor of a man who sued the government to use only his Romanized Indigenous name on his national Taiwan ID card rather than his Chinese-character name. It has been hailed as a big step forward for Indigenous rights in the country.
