00:00 Well my name is Kelly Williams and I'm a driver for the Champ Car Pace Car Team for the Champ

00:13 Car World Series and we're here at SEMA this year in the Motor Trend Proving Ground giving

00:18 laps around the track to people that want to come out.

00:22 Well Champ Car is trying to raise awareness of the series and it's a great opportunity

00:27 to show off our Ford Mustang GT's and our Ford Shelby GT that we have and to show how

00:33 great of cars they are out here and give people a thrill for going for a ride.

00:38 Well driving on this course is fun because it is so powerful you can get the car sideways

00:43 a lot and for this type of course it's kind of fun to be able to do that you know to be

00:47 able to give it a stab of the throttle, get the car to pitch, get it where you want to

00:51 go, point it and go so it actually is really good out on this course.

00:55 Well I think the thing that gets people the most here is that it's women driving the cars.

01:02 It's very rarely that you see women driving fast cars.

01:05 I've had more marriage proposals since I've been here this week than I have ever in my

01:09 life so I think that says a lot about how much fun the people are having in the car.
