Manchester Christmas Markets 2023: People in Manchester share their thoughts as the markets prepare to open this week

The Manchester Christmas Markets are opening for 2023 on Friday November 10.
At this year's city-wide markets there will be 225 stalls across nine sites, including Piccadilly Gardens, Exchange Square, King Street, St Anne's Square and more.
The stalls will be open daily from 10am to 9pm until Thursday December 21.
The UK's biggest Christmas Market is the perfect place to try some Bratwurst and Gluhwein, as well as browsing for festive trinkets and perhaps even sampling the returning food-favourite from last year - Yorkshire pudding roast dinner wraps.
We spoke to people in Manchester about our famous markets.
