00:00 toxic fan base. Obviously Brie Larson in particular has had to deal with that quite a bit since
00:03 she was the first female lead superhero for Marvel. I wonder, when you were working with
00:08 her, how did you find working with her? Did that kind of impact her at all in terms of
00:13 her performance or anything like that?
00:15 Oh no, I mean Brie's awesome. Brie is so prepared, she's so focused. She really wanted the two
00:20 other women in the film to have a good experience. I wanted it to be a great experience. We talked
00:25 a lot about how joyful this should be. We're making a superhero movie, we're making a comic
00:29 book film, we should be having fun. And then Marvel, their job is to get the movie that
00:36 they want. And if they want female leads in their films, they're going to get female leads.
00:41 And if they want the film to be like this, that's what it's going to be. So it was just
00:45 really great to just, we both knew we were, yes, important parts of this process, but
00:48 we're just a small part of a very big machine. And we went into it just trying to have a
00:54 good time and do our best work.
