00:00 Yeah, so it's targeted for people, Tasmanians over 60, and it's small group-based exercise.
00:06 So we know that engaging in exercise, there's barriers.
00:10 Often you sort of, I don't know how to start, what to do.
00:13 So this is designed to really help you get underway in that respect.
00:16 And it's in a group setting too, so there's a bit of a social aspect to it as well.
00:20 Through Primary Health Tasmania, they've looked at where there is need, where there's chronic
00:24 health issues, but also where there's access issues.
00:29 These types of programs are really useful in terms of building people's strength, which
00:35 makes them more confident to be more active and build their quality of life and wellbeing.
00:41 And as Steve said, these programs are really important as well because of the social element,
00:46 which really provides an opportunity for people to connect socially and improve their health
00:51 and wellbeing.
00:52 Look, I think health has many facets and part of that is physical health, mental health
00:57 and social, spiritual.
00:59 And I think this is going to help us with a few things.
01:02 Mental health, we know that exercise really helps with that, as well as medication and
01:07 other things that we provide.
01:10 And also it prevents falls, reduces the risk of chronic physical conditions like diabetes,
01:17 also gets people moving and socialising, meeting friends.
01:21 That's going to be good for their mental health as well.
01:24 So I think this is going to be a great initiative for the community.
01:26 We have predominantly an older community in Emmerdale, so I think it's going to be really
01:32 good.
01:33 I'm looking forward to it.
