Pak Bayu's Sop and Sate is a food stall that has been making waves on various social media lately. No wonder this place went viral so quickly.

With relatively affordable prices, this all-beef stall provides extraordinary portions. Moreover, we eat dishes in the middle of a natural atmosphere.

“Cheap prices with the aim that many people can buy them. "So that the head of the family can invite all his family members to eat at our stall without worrying about spending a lot of money," said Bayu Iswantoro, owner of Sop and Sate Pak Bayu when contacted by Gudegnet via written message, Wednesday (14/10).

Apart from that, he said again, those whose financial situation is tight can still taste the deliciousness of processed beef which is usually priced quite high in other restaurants.

By spending just IDR 13,000, we can enjoy one serving of Balungan Gajah Sop with a wow portion. This price and portion comparison is what made this stall on a quarter hectare of land go viral outside Jogja.

Bayu said he chose beef as his specialty menu because as a child he often had satay koyor snacks. He feels nostalgic when eating koyor satay or beef satay.

"Apart from that, no one has opened a specialist cattle stall like this," he said again.

Apart from the viral Balungan Gajah Sop, here we also provide various satay menus such as Sate Sultan (beef satay), Sate Sugih (beef satay mixed with koyor), Sate Jawa (beef satay mixed with tripe), Sate Babat, Sate Koyor, Sate Ati , and Sate Iso. The price for the satay menu is IDR 2,000-IDR 27,000.

There is also a menu of soups other than Sop Balungan Gajah, such as Sop Sengkel, Sop Ribs, and Sop Oxtail with a price range of IDR 13,000-IDR 27,000. There is also a Grilled Ribs menu. We can also choose a variety of fried foods to accompany our meal or as a snack while waiting.

The drinks provided are quite varied. Some of them include Whole Degan Ice, Tomato Wedang, Coriander Ginger, Shaved Cucumber Ice, and others. Drink prices are in the range of IDR 2,000-IDR 14,000.

The dishes take a while to come, so don't come when you're really hungry. When Gudegnet visited, the wait time was about 20 minutes. However, many said they waited up to an hour, especially during busy times.

In a day, this stall with a seating capacity of 150 people can sell up to 500 portions of food. This is quite a fantastic figure for a shop that has only been operational since June 24 2020.

Bayu feels that his stall has gone viral because the visitors who come feel happy and satisfied after visiting his stall. "So voluntarily spread information about our stall,"
