00:00 I don't know, is it kind of,
00:01 will we just be able to have some things
00:02 that we're playing?
00:03 - Yeah, I mean, we work it in practice every single day.
00:06 So, if we're not doing as best as we can on defense,
00:09 but we have five takeaways,
00:11 and it's really one by seven points,
00:13 it's a weird feeling,
00:15 but at the end of the day,
00:16 we've done this since OTA,
00:17 and we've placed a high,
00:19 and we've placed a high takeaways,
00:21 and we've placed a high,
00:23 I knew we were definitely capable of it.
00:24 Yeah, it was just cool.
00:26 (crowd chatter)
00:29 - Yeah, he is definitely a better athlete
00:34 than we might have thought,
00:36 but we had a game plan for it.
00:37 He just, he made some really, really good plays,
00:40 but there were some instances
00:42 where some of these bigger plays,
00:44 we really should have stopped.
00:45 I credit him, he played a great game.
00:49 He's a tough player, very, very tough.
00:51 But at the end of the day,
00:53 it's kind of a lost simulation.
00:56 - Paul said he knows he's playing
00:57 at a really high level right now.
00:58 When he's out there making these interceptions,
01:00 making these plays,
01:01 we got a day to joke,
01:02 but the run back kind of sucks.
01:03 But how much juice does that give everybody on defense
01:06 when you know that these guys are on the big things?
01:08 - It's a huge moment of change,
01:10 especially when you're playing at home.
01:11 Some of these takeaways,
01:12 that's when you hear the crowd get the loudest.
01:14 So, we're proud of ourselves on our takeaways.
01:17 Takeaways is when the momentum swings a lot,
01:20 especially when we do it backed up.
01:22 That's when we can really help our offense.
01:24 At the end of the day,
01:24 we're trying to get our offense on the field
01:26 as much as possible,
01:27 get us off before we're trying to score.
01:29 - DeMario at the end there,
01:30 he was ageless, right?
01:31 - Yeah, that's right.
01:32 - How big is that play?
01:33 - That's right, it's an unbelievable play.
01:35 Continuing to play next year has been unbelievable.
01:38 It's such an honor.
01:39 But yeah, I don't see the age sitting with him.
01:42 He might be 40 out there
01:43 and still be running a 4.3 or something crazy like that.
01:47 - How good does it feel
01:48 just to get the stack back back to play?
01:51 - We have to at this point.
01:53 We were sitting great at the start of the season
01:56 and then fell back a little bit.
01:58 And we really had to look ourselves in the mirror
02:00 and say, we got to start stacking games.
02:02 We can't.
02:03 And that's likely happened in the past two years.
02:05 So we got to keep continuing to place the high emphasis
02:09 on winning in practice,
02:10 winning in everything that we do.
02:12 I think stacking these games are very, very important.
02:14 - Have you been tracking the scores at all today?
02:16 - I have not, no.
02:17 - You guys are in first place.
02:18 - Very close, I love it.
02:19 I love it.
02:20 (laughing)
02:21 - That's great, that's great.
02:23 But then again, we might be in first,
02:25 but we got to keep stacking these wins like we said.
