Guy Steals Whole Bowl of Candy on Halloween Caught on Ring Camera | Doorbell Camera Video

Honestly cannot belive humanity these days ): I have been back & forth about posting this, hopefully this can warn others to be cautious.
Our first Halloween in our new home. It was such a fun filled night, we just got home from trick or treating with our kids & we noticed the candy + bin disappeared. We were super bummed because when we last checked the bin it was still halfway full for trick or treaters. We had no idea what happened to it until I checked the cameras. To our surprise, we saw a grown adult male had decided to steal the candy/bin from our front porch, they also had an accomplice as a getaway driver in a white SUV. This has definitely made us skeptical for next year, unfortunately we won’t be leaving out candy moving forward. This kind of act ruins the fun in Halloween for kids, teens, & families. We also had our speaker out front for Halloween music to elevate the fun. Thankfully, my husband had brought it in just before this bc he didn’t want to disturb our neighbors who had to get up early. Still wondering what was the purpose in all of this? Was it because he ran out of candy? Did he take it to eat it himself? Or just plain amusement? We’ll never quite understand.
