Tesla CEO Elon Musk Reveals Tesla's Ambitious Plan to Produce 200,000 Cybertrucks per Year
  • 6 months ago
Elon Musk stated in an interview on the "Joe Rogan Experience" podcast that Tesla is looking to produce 200,000 of its Cybertruck electric pickup trucks per year at peak production. The Cybertruck's highly advanced and innovative design poses manufacturing challenges that have delayed the start of production and deliveries. The Cybertruck has a stainless steel body that Musk touts as bulletproof. Musk plans a durability test next month firing real guns at the vehicle. Its unconventional angular design has garnered strong pre-orders but mass production at scale will prove how well it sells. Deliveries are set to begin on November 30th, 2023.
