00:20 confirmed the news on Instagram,

00:22 sharing, "Tyler passed away Tuesday morning

00:25 "following a cardiac event in his San Diego apartment."

00:28 Maurice goes on to praise his truly talented castmate,

00:32 calling him a sweet soul and a wonderful friend

00:34 to all those who knew him.

00:36 - That I'm glad that people appreciate what I do.

00:39 I hope every day I try to

00:42 to make a scene as real and as honest and possible.

00:47 And if people enjoy that, then that's all the better.

00:50 And it's nice to get recognized.

00:52 - In his message, Maurice adds that Tyler was an advocate

00:56 for better mental health and substance use treatment

00:59 and openly spoke about his struggles

01:00 with bipolar depression and alcohol,

01:03 concluding the post, "We are beyond devastated

01:06 "by the loss of our dear friend

01:07 "and pray for his children and his father."
