Renewable energy company Orsted has halted the development of two US offshore wind projects due to supply chain challenges and rising interest rates, leading to a drop in the company's shares by 22%. Orsted has increased its projected impairments for its US projects and announced provisions related to the cancellation of two projects. BP and Equinor have also reported significant writedowns on their wind projects in New York.
