Nationals MP, Merome Beard has defected to the Liberal Party, throwing WA's Opposition Alliance into doubt and raising questions over Shane Love's future as Opposition leader. With an even split between the Liberal and National Parties in the Legislative Assembly, Liberal Libby Mettam says she's ready for the title, but the Speaker says the Opposition needs to work it out amongst themselves.
